Bharti Airtel, an Indian telecom operator, will cooperate with Intel to launch 5g vran and Oran networks in India.

Bharti Airtel said that it will deploy Intel"s latest third-generation Xeon scalable processor, FPGA, easic and Ethernet 800 Series in its network, laying a solid foundation for the large-scale launch of 5g, mobile edge computing and network slicing.

Bharti Airtel has more than 345 million users. It ranks second among the three major mobile network operators in India, with reliance jio ranking first and Vodafone idea limited ranking third.

Bharti Airtel is the first telecom operator in India to demonstrate 5g through live network. At present, 5g test is being carried out in major cities.
